Meet Revella

Revella Nesbit is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida with 28 years of serving in executive leadership roles in the areas of behavioral health, cultural competence, diversity, inclusion, and equity.
Ms. Nesbit has a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Winthrop University. She has also earned certifications from Cornell University in Diversity Inclusion and the Institute of Organization Development as an Organization Development Certified Professional. She has written several articles on cultural competence, inclusion, and diversity. Ms. Nesbit is the author of the book Hope Changes Everything and contributing author of 8 Qualities of the Exceptional Woman in Business Entrepreneurship. Among her biggest passions, Ms. Nesbit focuses on emotional wellness for culturally diverse communities. She is the creator of Nourish My Soul ™, a self-care and soul care integrative wellness tool designed to build restorative practices in our daily lives. She serves as the board President of National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Charlotte.
