Melanie Bush joins esteemed NC Healthcare peers and professionals at the Spring Policy Forum, hosted by the NC Council for Community Programs. We are in the midst of a shift in thinking about how to maximize our existing resources to improve community well being. In this session, Melanie and her colleagues will discuss how the approach of government entities partnering with communities to address social determinants of community well-being has been introduced in Cleveland County- how it was started, how it is working to date, and the outcomes it plans to achieve. The Forum discussions will provide a clearer understanding of state and federal policy changes, as Medicaid systems are being transformed nationwide.
