Tara Larson, Beth Nelson and Michael Watson were Presenters at the NC Council of Community Programs Annual Conference on December 4, 2014. The topic was The World of Analytics: What Does it Really Mean? Tara, Beth and Michael discussed why managing costs, direct service delivery, enhancing whole person care and using analytics is a critical competency of an organization in today’s data driven market. They presented information describing the phases of data analysis, outlined an analytics adoption model and discussed the existing date sources available to LME-MCOs and providers and explained how the data sources can inform financial and programmatic operations in today’s healthcare industry.
