Recently stepping down as the Assistant Director for Medicaid Policy and Regulatory Affairs at the NC Division of Medical Assistance, Melanie brings over 17 years of experience in the health and human services and governmental arena.
Melanie’s experience with health and human services spans the spectrum as she has worked for nonprofits providing direct services, advocacy organizations, as well as government. Throughout her career, Melanie has demonstrated her analytical strengths as well as her ability to organize, educate, and implement policy to achieve strategic goals.
