Jennifer Love-Pennell, LCMHC, is a Senior Consultant with Cansler Collaborative Resources, CCR. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a specific focus on specialty areas of mental health and substance use disorders. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and has been licensed as a clinical counselor since 2001. For the past 10 years, she was the Director of Mental Health and Substance Use Care Coordination with a local managed care organization and led a team of over 100 staff to meet the identified needs of the health plans specialty population. Jennifer is an innovative clinical and administrative leader with a passion for developing and implementing evidenced-based and solution-focused strategies to support the quality of behavioral health service provision. Jennifer received her certification in Change Management through PROSCI as this modality enables a framework for supporting individuals and organizations to successfully move through change. In addition to this certification, Jennifer is also a certified Person-Centered Thinking Trainer. Jennifer and her husband live in Harrisburg, NC and have an 11-year-old son and 2 dogs, a Boston Terrier and French Bulldog. She spends most weekends on the baseball field as her son plays travel baseball. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting involved with DIY projects in her home.
